Terms of Service

Effective: August 15, 2026. These Terms govern use of MeoW OCR, operated by UenStudio, an independent developer based in Vietnam.

Using MeoW

You may use MeoW for lawful personal or business purposes. You are responsible for the screen content you scan, the translations you create, and complying with game, content, copyright, workplace, and local rules that apply to you. Do not misuse the service, bypass usage limits, interfere with infrastructure, or use MeoW to violate another person's rights.

Accounts

Core OCR and standard translation currently work without an account. AI translation in v5.x requires sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials secure. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal compliance.

Beta software and compatibility

MeoW may include beta or early-access features. Windowed and borderless games work best; exclusive fullscreen, hotkeys, capture methods, OCR quality, and anti-cheat compatibility may vary by game, device, and third-party software. MeoW does not inject into or hook game processes, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every game or anti-cheat system.

Translation output

OCR and machine translation can be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. AI results vary with text, context, network conditions, and third-party providers. Do not rely on MeoW for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes decisions.

Plans, trials, and payments

The core app is currently free. AI trials, paid plans, quotas, renewal terms, prices, taxes, and refund options may be introduced later and will be shown before purchase. Store purchases are also subject to the relevant store terms. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.

Ownership and feedback

UenStudio owns MeoW and its original software, branding, and website materials. Games, manga, screenshots, and other third-party content remain owned by their respective rights holders. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve MeoW without an obligation to compensate you.

Availability and liability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and impose reasonable limits as the service evolves. To the extent permitted by law, MeoW is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or perfect output, and UenStudio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Mandatory rights and liabilities under applicable law remain unaffected.
